How I got here...

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be an actress. I would spend countless hours in front of a mirror, performing, lip syncing, and making faces. My dream became reality when I was offered a full time position at Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas. Now to some of you, that wouldn't be so exciting...but to me, it was a most amazing experience. I was able to perform in front of people and make a great living from it. Other things came my way as well, and I felt quite satisfied with life.

Then came my daughter, Marisa. I had to stop what I was doing and become a full time mom. I won't go on and on about this time in my life, because every mother knows how precious it is. Every job I held, every consideration I made was all tailored around my daughter and what worked for us. During this time, I studied nutrition therapy and got a little crazy in the kitchen, wanting to build my family strong and healthy.

Just about three years ago, my Dad became ill with a horrible disease of the brain. My life immediately switched gears from juggling a part time job, raising a child and keeping the house in order to flights to Cleveland for doctor's appointments, problem solving and whatnot to moving him here to Minnesota to care for him. After a crazy time, he gently left us for better places. Exhausted and a mess, my sweet girlfriend, who had always casually tended to my eyebrows at her house, invited me to her spa to weed whack my brows into shape for the funeral. At the spa, she gave me my first and only mini-facial experience. It was so moving, so tender, such an amazing thing that the ceiling opened up, the clouds parted, and a voice sounded in my brain "YOU should be doing this! This is IT!" Immediately, I enrolled in the skin care program and now I am a licensed esthetician.

I love people. I love making people happy, pleasing them, helping them be their best. I love the body. I love how it can heal, change, and radiate if you treat it properly. I love being a part of those changes, of finding solutions to make each person their very best. I am so excited to combine what I've learned about the skin, the body, nutrition, and health to make you absolutely, stunningly, gorgeously vibrant and happy!
